Rachel Glenn, Dionna Griffith, Maya Bryson and Tyler Nettles, representing Long Beach Wilson CA, led Blazin Bruin to a victory in the girls 4x400-meter relay in 3:56.88 at the 41st Simplot Games at Idaho State's Holt Arena. The win helped Blazin Bruin overcome the frustration of being disqualified in the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay after initially winning in 4:08.90.
